PVE Electrical Group is an experienced electrical engineering design services firm located in NSW, Australia, providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of our clients.
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to plan, design, develop and oversee electrical engineering systems and infrastructure across our electrical projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Planning and designing electrical power systems, equipment, components and installations for electrical engineering projects.
- Developing electrical engineering designs, specifications, drawings, schematics and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Determining the type and arrangement of electrical circuits, transformers, circuit breakers, transmission and distribution systems and other electrical equipment.
- Interpreting project requirements, technical specifications and engineering data and applying electrical engineering principles to develop practical design solutions.
- Reviewing electrical designs, shop drawings, technical submissions and engineering proposals to assess technical suitability, safety and compliance with established design criteria.
Requirements/Skills Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in a closely related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret and prepare electrical drawings.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
