About the role
Join SunRice as a Credit Officer and play an important role in helping us keep our business moving. Based in our Sydney office, you'll work closely with the Credit Manager and a broad range of stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Finance to support healthy cash flow, manage credit risk and deliver great outcomes for our customers.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From managing customer accounts and collections to supporting credit assessments and process improvements, you'll be a key contributor to the day-to-day success of the Accounts Receivable function.
If you're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and collection of overdue debts.
- Reviewing and assessing new customer credit applications and credit limit changes.
- Monitoring aged debt and working with internal stakeholders to minimise risk and improve cash flow.
- Releasing or blocking customer orders in line with credit policies and agreed terms of trade.
- Processing credit and debit adjustments, rebates and customer claims.
- Creating and maintaining customer account master data within SAP.
- Responding to customer account queries, including statements, invoices and payment enquiries.

You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels and are always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
You'll be joining a close-knit team where collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement are valued, so your willingness to contribute, learn and support others will be just as important as your technical skills.
You will bring:
- Previous Credit or Accounts Receivable experience, ideally within FMCG or a high-volume environment.
- Experience managing an AR ledger and following through on collections activity.
- Sound understanding of credit management principles and order-to-cash processes.
