Theta Clinic is a specialist psychiatric practice providing evidence-based mental health care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and motivated rTMS Technician to join our growing team.This is a casual position with the opportunity for increased hours and future permanent employment as our clinic continues to grow. Flexibility is essential, as treatment schedules and patient demand may vary. Previous rTMS experience is highly regarded but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful applicant. About the Role As an rTMS Technician, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with our psychiatrists and clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality care while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer rTMS treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Prepare patients for treatment and explain the procedure
- Monitor patients throughout each treatment session
- Document treatments accurately and maintain clinical records
- Assist psychiatrists during motor threshold procedures and treatment planning
- Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to a high standard
- Build positive relationships with patients and provide compassionate support throughout their course of treatment
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team
- Adhere to infection control, privacy and workplace health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
- Excellent communication and computer skills
Desirable
- Experience in mental health, psychology, psychiatry or healthcare
- Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology or Health Science background
- Experience working in a medical practice or specialist clinic
- Experience using Clinic to Cloud or similar practice management software
- Previous rTMS experience (training will be provided if required)
