Roster: Monday – Friday, 10.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate planning, scheduling and resource allocation for machine rebuild projects, ensuring opportunities progress smoothly from initial lead stage through to confirmed work.
- Manage the Planning & Forecast shared mailbox, proactively reviewing, prioritising, delegating and assigning tasks to support efficient workflow management.
- Oversee the allocation of build bays and workshop locations, leveraging planning tools to maintain an accurate master schedule and rebuild project pipeline.
- Develop and maintain a consolidated master plan, providing visibility of rebuild opportunities, resource capacity, bay and branch utilisation, and cross-site planning requirements.
- Lead all planning and forecasting activities for Machine Rebuilds statewide from the centralised Welshpool location, including the management of 8-week locked plans, detailed task schedules and a rolling 12-month forecast.
- Provide expert planning insight and operational guidance to the Rebuilds Operations Support Manager, ensuring future workloads are achievable, appropriately resourced and execution ready.
Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years' leadership experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to build, lead and collaborate across teams.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in MEM long-term planning and forecasting, with strong proficiency in planning tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet and Primavera, with proven ability to coach and lead new team members in the use of such tools.
- Excellent organisational, time management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive positive outcomes across stakeholders.
- Degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical or Electrical) or a relevant Trade Qualification is desirable.
