The position
As a Community Support Assistant, you will provide personalised care and support to ageing clients within their homes and community.
The role focuses on helping clients maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life through assistance with daily living activities, social support, personal care, domestic assistance, and transport services where required.

What’s required
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent, or Certificate IV in Aged care or Ageing Support
- A current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a fully insured (comprehensive), registered vehicle for travel between client homes
- Current - First Aid, CPR & Police check
- Previous experience at an Aged Care facility (desired)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and relate to older people with understanding, patience and sensitivity
- Strong commitment to client service and care
- Team focused and supportive of colleagues
- Able to work without supervision
- Self-motivated and positive in outlook
- Ability to prioritise and organise to meet timeframes
- Sensitive and able to maintain confidentiality of both colleagues and clients
- Computer skills across emails, intranet and working with MS Office
