We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our friendly and professional team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the diagnosis, service, and repair of a wide variety of light vehicles and 4WDs. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conducting comprehensive repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
- Performing diagnostics and repairs on 4x4 specific systems, including diffs, transfer cases, and drive shafts.
- Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Conducting road tests to ensure vehicle safety and proper function.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- A trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate III or equivalent).
- Proven experience working on a wide range of light vehicles and 4WDs.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
- A valid and clean driver's license.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
