We are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to be the face of our smash repair shop. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers who are often stressed after an accident. Your job is to make the repair process as smooth as possible by managing bookings, coordinating with insurance companies, and keeping our customers informed.Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, handle phone enquiries, and manage the check-in/check-out process for vehicles.
- Insurance Liaison: Help customers lodge claims and communicate with insurance assessors regarding repair authorities.
- Scheduling: Coordinate booking dates for smash repairs and manage the schedule for "loan cars" or courtesy vehicles.
- Administrative Support: Prepare invoices, process payments (EFTPOS/Cash), and maintain accurate digital records of vehicle photos and repair quotes.
- Workflow Coordination: Act as the bridge between the customer and the workshop team to provide accurate updates on vehicle progress.
Skills & Experience
- The "Vibe": A calm, empathetic, and professional phone manner.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a smash repair shop or automotive dealership is a huge plus (familiarity with software like iBodyshop, ORM, or Quoteplus is highly regarded).
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general database management.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quicklY.
Pay: $24.95 – $45.51 per hour
