We require a full-time, qualified Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. The applicant should have a relevant Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Civil Engineering or at least three years of work experience.
Salary is $79,499 per annum plus super.
The Civil Engineering Draftsperson will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Preparing detailed drawings and plans for commercial, industrial or government developments; Preparing sketches, charts, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as water supply, sewerage, roads, footpaths, earthworks; Performing and directing fieldwork; Interpreting work assignment instructions, apply appropriate procedures and select equipment; Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations; Estimating material costs, assisting with material take-offs; Checking material quantities to ensure accuracy and project alignment; Conducting site inspections to verify civil engineering and construction works; Ensuring finished works strictly adhere to specifications, regulations, and contract provisions; Explaining technical drawings to construction teams, making necessary adjustments and revisions based on field feedback; Maintaining close contact and communications with construction workers, contractors and project managers; Organising, supervising and assisting in coordinating maintenance and repair activities; and Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
