The Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the education services organization by maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, and providing financial support to education and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform regular account reconciliations.
- Monitor student details and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, organizational policies, and financial procedures.
- Work closely with the Visa Department to prepare invoices and support student payment processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with education and operational teams to provide financial support.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Support improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare invoices using QuickBooks.
Pay: $55,403.73 – $108,241.20 per year
