We’re looking for a gregarious, organised and passionate Restaurant & Events Supervisor to help lead our team through this exciting milestone year and beyond.
About the Role
This is a hands-on Front of House leadership role for someone who loves hospitality and leads from the front. You’ll set the rhythm of service, shape the team culture, oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Working closely with the Head Chef and Property Managers, you’ll play a key role in developing the team and helping the business continue to grow.
What you’ll be doing
- Train, mentor, lead and develop the Front of House team through recruitment, onboarding, coaching and ongoing performance development.
- Lead by example, delivering memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality and exceptional service
- Monitor daily service standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Property Managers to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Manage function and event enquiries from initial contact through to the post-event follow up, including coordinating bookings, run sheets and event logistics
- Prepare staff rosters to ensure effective team scheduling and labour efficiency
- Take ownership of the POS and booking system, ensuring accuracy, consistency and efficiency
- Drive beverage sales by maintaining a well-stocked bar, keeping the beverage offering fresh and on trend, and developing the team's product knowledge and upselling skills
- Oversee stock control, supplier relationships and inventory management with accuracy, efficiency and commercial awareness.
- Drive consistently high standards of cleanliness, safety and quality, ensuring the venue is always guest-ready.
- Represent the venue professionally by responding to guest feedback and online reviews with care, empathy and a solutions-focused approach.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading a busy, quality-focused restaurant, bar or hospitality venue
- A genuine passion for hospitality, leadership and creating memorable guest experiences
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
- Strong operational skills, including rostering, labour management and day-to-day venue operations
- Experience managing functions and events is highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of POS and booking systems (IdealPOS experience is an advantage)
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with guests, suppliers and the wider team
- Current RMLV certification and Approved Manager status, or willingness to obtain the required qualifications
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Pay: $34.96 – $48.95 per hour
