- Prepare, cook, and present meals according to recipes and quality standards.
- Plan menus, estimate food requirements, and manage inventory.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
- Monitor food safety compliance and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and promoting a positive team environment.
- Ensure timely delivery of food during service and maintain presentation standards.
- Contribute to new menu ideas and seasonal specials.
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Proven 1 year experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Pay: $79,500.00 per year
