What you'll be doing
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide quality, evidence-based and consumer-focused assessment and intervention to older people accessing mental health services. You’ll use your clinical expertise to support function, independence and safe transitions from hospital to the community.
Provide holistic occupational therapy assessment and intervention for individuals and groups.
Maximise functional outcomes, independence and safe discharge planning for consumers.
Collaborate with consumers, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated care.
Provide education and advice on occupational therapy, equipment and community resources.
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to case conferences, team meetings and clinical presentations.
