SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Commercial Dishwashers
Melbourne VIC | Full Time Permanent | Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per Annum + Super
Hobart Food Equipment is a leading supplier of commercial food equipment, warewashing systems and food preparation solutions throughout Australia. We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Melbourne VIC service team.
This is a full-time position involving installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen and warewashing equipment across a diverse customer base including hospitality, healthcare, aged care, education and food production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, test and commission commercial warewashing and food preparation equipment.
· Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control system faults.
· Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
· Troubleshoot commercial dishwashers, utensil washers, mixers, bakery ovens and associated equipment.
· Prepare service reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.
· Provide technical advice and support to customers.
· Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of service work.
· Travel to customer sites throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area and surrounding regions as required.
Skills and Experience
· Relevant trade, technical or engineering qualification in electrical, mechanical or related discipline.
· Experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment, warewashing systems, food processing equipment or similar industrial equipment.
· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
· Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and schematics.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Current driver's licence.
