About Us:
House of Carnivore is a premium meat wholesaler and food service provider proudly based in Wingfield, South Australia. We supply top-quality meats, including Wagyu, Angus, lamb, poultry, and specialty hot pot slices to restaurants, hotels, and cafes across SA via our dedicated fleet of refrigerated trucks. Additionally, we operate a popular retail store in Payneham and leverage an innovative in-house chef team to help B2B clients refine their menus. We utilize the state-of-the-art Fresho App to streamline online ordering and customer management.
We are seeking an experienced and organised Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily office operations, coordinate administrative functions, maintain business records, support management, and ensure efficient communication across departments. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the business to ensure efficient office management.
2. Develop, implement and maintain office procedures, administrative systems, and record management practices.
3. Coordinate communication and workflow between management, administration, sales, production, and compliance functions.
4. Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
5. Manage office resources, equipment, supplier relationships, and service contracts to support business operations.
6. Assist Directors with operational planning, reporting, scheduling, and business administration activities.
7. Maintain company records, employee documentation, and compliance-related files in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
8. Coordinate recruitment administration, staff onboarding, leave records, and other human resource support functions.
9. Monitor office budgets and administrative expenses, liaising with accounting staff where required.
10. Support workplace health and safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
11. Organise meetings, prepare reports, and facilitate effective internal communication across departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in an office management, administration, or business operations role.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
4. Demonstrated ability to coordinate administrative functions and support business operations across multiple departments.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience in staff coordination, record management, and office systems administration will be highly regarded.
