The Opportunity: Reporting to the Business Systems & Improvements Manager, purpose of the role is to support and coordinate the end-to-end transition of ICT services to a new operating model and outsourced service partners, ensuring seamless transfer of services, minimal disruption to business operations and establishment of effective governance, processes, and service outcomes.
This role will also communicate transition-related information clearly to stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences, managing expectations throughout the transition lifecycle.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition, as an ICT Transition Specialist (Maximum term – 12 months) you will:
- Coordinate and support the execution of transition activities for outsourced ICT services (Application Managed Services, End User Computing, Infrastructure Support, Service Desk) including assistance in knowledge transfer, service readiness and acceptance activities to ensure services are transitioned effectively and meet agreed criteria.
- Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, working with internal teams and vendors to track progress, dependencies and key milestones.
- Facilitate day-to-day coordination between internal stakeholders, incumbent vendors and new service providers to ensure aligned execution.
- Support the setup and operationalisation of service management processes, governance forums and reporting during transition.
- Monitor transition risks, issues, and actions, escalating where required and assisting in implementing mitigations to maintain service continuity.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
About You:
- Qualification: University degree
- Experience supporting or coordinating ICT service transitions engagements
- Working knowledge of IT service delivery and service management practices (e.g., ITIL fundamentals)
- Experience working with vendors or service providers in transition or support roles
- Ability to plan, track, and manage multiple activities and dependencies in a structured manner
- Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across teams and follow up on deliverables
- Practical experience in managing risks, issues, and transition activities in complex environments
- Basic understanding of commercial aspects of outsourcing (e.g., SLAs, service acceptance).
- Experience supporting vendor mobilisation or service delivery setup activities.
