We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administration Assistant to join our busy and supportive Cardiology Department based in Macquarie Park. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient and clinical information across multiple systems
- Processing and distribution of cardiology reports to internal and external Stakeholders in a timely manner
- managing exception lists and supporting a range of ad hoc administrative tasks
- Assisting with the coordination and upkeep of medical equipment and laboratory devices
- Providing reliable administrative support to the cardiology team
To be successful in this role, you will bring
- Strong computer skills, including fast and accurate data entry
- Exposure to medical terminology and/or experience in a healthcare setting (desirable)
- A proactive, reliable approach, supported by a strong work ethic
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
