Taxi Kitchen is looking for experienced Section Waiters who genuinely enjoy great food, wine and looking after people.
Located above Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square, Taxi Kitchen is one of Melbourne’s leading dining destinations, serving modern Australian food with an extensive wine list, exceptional cocktails and genuine hospitality.
This is not an entry-level waiting position. We’re looking for professionals who know how to own a section, anticipate guests’ needs and take pride in delivering memorable service.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience running your own restaurant section
Strong food and wine knowledge
Confident carrying three plates and managing a busy service
Friendly, energetic and professional personality
Excellent communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

What you’ll do
Run your own section from greeting through to farewell
Deliver polished, attentive and genuine service
Build rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences
Work alongside experienced chefs, managers and sommeliers
Maintain exceptional service standards every shift
