We are seeking an experienced construction manager to tender, plan & co-ordinate various large scale commercial construction projects we are working on in the Perth Metro area.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to manage the financial, legal, and administrative life cycle of our commercial construction projects. Working closely with our project management team, you will ensure commercial compliance, maximize profitability, and mitigate risk from tender through to final account.Key Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Manage head contract and subcontract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and executing agreements.
- Procurement: Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and specialized subcontracted labor.
- Financial Management: Scope variations, prepare progress claims, assess subcontractor claims, and manage project cash flow against budgets.
- Tendering & Estimating: Assist in developing commercial tenders, analyzing project risks, and reviewing contracts to ensure positive project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with engineers, architects, clients, and suppliers to ensure clear communication regarding contractual obligations.
- Compliance & Risk: Monitor projects to ensure all contractual variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and quality standards comply with company policies and OHSE regulations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read, understand, and accurately interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of structural scopes of work and standard Australian construction contracts.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional financial management, negotiation skills, and a sharp eye for contractual risk mitigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
