We are looking for a compassionate and experienced individual to provide support for our NDIS clients for 4-8 hours on per day/ weekends may be required also.
Key Responsibilities:
- One-on-one support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Engage young children in meaningful activities (e.g. music, writing, social participation).
- Assist with participants commutes/ schooling and monitor their progress.
- Work in the families home
- Engage in home routines
- Previous experience with autism and behavioural behaviour
Requirements:
- Prefer to have ABN
- Previous experience in child disability support.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel only within participants 20km radius) .
- Compliance: NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Police Check, NDIS Worker Module.
Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ashwood VIC 3147: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Direct support: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Police Check (Required)
- WWC (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
