The Eyre Hotel is on the hunt for our next Gaming Attendant superstar to join the team across casual, part-time, or full-time opportunities.
With a busy gaming lounge, front bar, accommodation, and late-night trade operating 365 days a year, no two shifts are ever the same. We’re looking for people who bring great energy, strong customer service skills, and the right attitude — because we can teach you the gaming side of things!

ABOUT YOU
Attitude is everything in this role.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in looking after customers, stays calm under pressure, and brings positive energy to every shift.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous hospitality experience (essential)
A warm, approachable, and professional personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Great attention to detail and initiative
Reliable availability for evenings, weekends, and night shifts
Availability to work shifts finishing between 3am–4am
Confidence handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment
A willingness to learn all things gaming and hotel operations
RSA Certificate (essential)
Basic Gaming/Attend Gaming Machines Licence (preferred but not essential)
THE NON-NEGOTIABLES
You must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Live in or near Whyalla
Be reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Be comfortable working late-night hospitality shifts
ABOUT THE JOB
This is far more than sitting in a gaming room.
You’ll be creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for our customers while supporting multiple areas of the venue.
Your shifts may include:
Looking after guests in the gaming lounge
Serving drinks, coffee, snacks, and meals
Bartending and general food & beverage service
Assisting customers with gaming machine enquiries and payouts
Monitoring gaming areas and promoting responsible gambling practices
Cash handling and till operations
Answering phones and assisting accommodation guests
Keeping service areas clean, organised, and presentable
Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team
Delivering genuine hospitality and creating a positive customer experience every shift
