About the Role
We are seeking a full-time skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team based in Bardon, QLD. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential construction and renovation projects, delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining strong safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from timber and other materials
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and building plans
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Install windows, doors, frameworks, flooring, and cabinetry
- Carry out general formwork and finishing carpentry
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards and safety regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
