About the Role
We are recruiting a Full-Time Contract Manager to support cleaning operations across the University of Queensland St Lucia and surrounding campuses.
These roles involve Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, providing leadership and hands-on support to our cleaning teams operating within school and learning environments.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting team members, and ensuring safe, efficient service delivery at University of Queensland.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and manage site operations from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality across all service functions

Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships

Ensure outstanding service delivery and client satisfaction

Drive team performance across supervisors, team leaders and cleaning staff
-
Oversee workforce planning, rosters, and labour optimisation
-
Ensure compliance with WHS, company policies, and site requirements

Monitor performance against KPIs and implement continuous improvements

Manage budgets, reporting, and operational outcomes

Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of your team
You Should Have
-
Experience in a site leadership or similar operational leadership role
-
Strong communication, client relationship and stakeholder management skills
-
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams
-
Experience managing large or complex environments
-
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-
Solid understanding of WHS and compliance obligations
-
