About OT Life Australia
OT Life Australia is based in Gippsland and Brisbane and is a occupational therapy practice dedicated to empowering individuals across the lifespan. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated subcontractor to join our team in delivering high-quality, participant-centred NDIS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that align with each participant’s needs, goals, and NDIS requirements
- Attend home visits (travel time to and from your home is paid at 50% of hourly rate)
- Develop and implement intervention plans, including:
- Assistive technology assessments and prescriptions
- Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
- Maintain accurate case notes and professional reports
- Liaise with participants’ families, GPs, and allied health professionals
- Stay up to date with NDIS policy, guidelines, and referral processes
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Manage your own schedule and appointments to ensure timely service delivery
- Uphold the ethical and professional standards set by the OT Board of Australia
- Engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS framework and reporting requirements
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
