We are an established and dynamic Builder-Developer located in Northern Sydney, with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. We specialise in full-lifecycle property development, from acquisition and design development through to construction delivery and settlement.
Driven by passion and a strong results-oriented approach, we are currently expanding our Class 2 residential team. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Site Foreman who genuinely enjoys the satisfaction of project delivery to grow alongside our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Leadership & Trade Coordination: Lead, inspire, and coordinate all on-site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain site momentum and productivity.
- End-to-End Delivery: Oversee all construction stages, ensuring exceptional quality control across both complex structural elements (concrete, steel, formwork) and high-end internal fit-outs/finishes.
- Programme & Progress Management: Actively drive the construction schedule, manage weekly site programmes, look-ahead schedules, and resolve critical-path bottlenecks to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Class 2 Compliance & Quality Assurance (QA): Monitor and ensure all on-site works strictly comply with the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA), National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and DA/CC specifications. Conduct rigorous QA checks and manage defect rectification proactively.
- WHS Compliance: Enforce site safety policies in strict alignment with SafeWork NSW requirements, conducting regular toolboxes, site inductions, and maintaining zero-harm site environments.
- Logistics & Procurement: Manage site logistics, material procurement coordination, deliveries, and handling within tight or complex site footprints.
- Reporting & Documentation: Produce accurate daily site diaries, milestone tracking, and maintain clear records using digital project management and site tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Site Foreman, Assistant Foreman, or Site Supervisor, with a proven track record in delivering Class 2 multi-residential apartment projects in Sydney.
- Deep understanding of the NSW DBP Act (Class 2 regulated designs), Australian Building Codes, and standard structural/fit-out construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Fluent in English; a multicultural mindset with the ability to lead a diverse subcontractor base is essential.
- Competent with smartphones, tablets, and modern digital site-reporting / scheduling tools (e.g., Procore).
