We are Solaris Music - a music school located in Blaxland that delivers high quality, individually tailored music lessons on a one-on-one basis as well as group band lessons and student performance opportunities.
We are currently actively seeking candidates to join our team of contracted music tutors ahead of Term 3 with ideal starting date(s) for new tutors being between 06/07-27/07 (but open to later starts).
We are interested to receive applications from musicians who can teach drums, guitar, piano, violin and voice as these make up the bulk of our student base, however musicians teaching other instruments are highly encouraged to apply as student demand is quite dynamic.
Required
- Current active ABN & insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current valid WWCC
- A sound understanding of both practical skills and theory in your instrument(s) of specialty
- Tutoring experience of at least 1 year
- Comfortable working with adults and children as young as 5 years old
We Look Favourably Upon Candidates Who:
- Can teach more than one instrument
- Have experience teaching bands
- Are active in the music industry (gigging, composing, etc)
- Have experience working with students with extra needs
- Have tutoring experience of more than 2 years
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
Experience:
- Music Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Working with Children Check (Preferred)
