We’re looking for an experienced Facility Management Project Manager to join Levande’s Village Operations team in Melbourne.
This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of capital works, major maintenance and facilities management initiatives across a portfolio of retirement living communities, helping ensure our villages remain safe, compliant and operationally effective.
Working closely with Village Managers and operational teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects, improving asset performance and driving long-term maintenance and compliance outcomes across the portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, this role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of facilities, maintenance, compliance and project initiatives across a portfolio of villages.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who enjoys balancing project delivery, facilities management, stakeholder engagement and compliance oversight within a multi-site environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of annual CAPEX, major maintenance and village improvement programs
- Management of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the portfolio
- End-to-end project management, including planning, procurement, delivery and project close-out
- Oversight of Facilities Management (FM) operations and contractor performance
- Coordination and close-out of FM audit actions arising from Safety Audits and other operational or business audits
- Undertaking village safety and compliance audits and driving corrective actions to closure
- Supporting preventative and long-term maintenance planning aligned to asset lifecycle and budget requirements
- Monitoring WH&S, compliance, contractor management and operational risk obligations
- Supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives, including solar and energy optimisation projects
- Leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools to improve maintenance planning, reporting, risk identification and operational decision-making
- Providing coaching, guidance and support to Village Managers and operational teams on facilities, maintenance and compliance practices
About You
You will bring a strong background in facilities, projects, construction, asset management or property operations, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a regional portfolio.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience delivering CAPEX and major maintenance projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of WHS, safety and compliance obligations within operational environments
- Experience managing contractors, stakeholders, budgets and competing operational priorities
- Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving capability
- Digital and AI literacy, including experience using systems and technology to support reporting and operational decision-making
- A proactive, solutions-focused and hands-on approach
Experience within retirement living, aged care, hospitality, property or other regulated environments will be highly regarded.
