Apply configuration and change management processes to maintain engineering baselines and CMCA assets.
Provide technical input to project reporting, risk management and Earned Value Management activities.
Act as a technical SME for assigned systems/assets and contribute to the development of less experienced engineers.
Support technical proposals for, and delivery of, mission-critical capability
Liaise with customers, end-users, subcontractors and suppliers.
About you
You will be a capable Systems Engineer with approximately 5–8 years’ experience, ideally working with complex, software-intensive or mission-critical systems within the Defence environment.

Familiarity with ASDEFCON engineering deliverables, networking and cyber security considerations is advantageous.
Experience with Python, MATLAB, test automation or technical data analysis would be beneficial.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading small technical workstreams is desirable
A Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is expected. INCOSE, Engineers Australia or equivalent professional membership is desirable.
