Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Finance team, you'll play an important role in delivering accurate financial processing, exceptional stakeholder service and business support across the organisation.

About the Role
As an Accounts Officer, you'll play an important role in delivering the financial processes that support our people, programs and communities.
Working within a collaborative Finance team, you'll contribute to payroll, accounts administration and financial processing activities, while maintaining accurate records and fostering positive relationships with colleagues, service providers and clients.

In this role, you will:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and contribute to the timely and accurate payment of employees.
- Maintain accurate financial records and verify financial data.
- Assist with broker invoice processing and general finance administration.
- Assist with reconciliations and reporting activities.
- Respond to enquiries from internal stakeholders, service providers and clients.
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Finance operations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
Essential
-
Demonstrated experience in payroll, finance processing, accounts administration or data entry roles.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and general finance functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Experience processing transactions using finance and/or payroll systems.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised, systematic approach to work.
- A person-centred and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Current Driver Licence recognised in Australia.
- Current National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable

Certificate qualification in Accounting, Business or Administration (or currently working towards).
- Experience working in a similar finance-related role.
- Knowledge of the aged care sector.
