Warehouse Team Member – Business Events Industry

At Moreton Hire Sydney, we are on the lookout for new talent to join our Warehouse Team based at our Operational & Logistics Hub in Kingsgrove. The role is a casual role based at our warehouse with day of works running between Monday to Friday 7am-3pm. There is also the opportunity from time to time to work with our Field Team out on site assisting with the delivery of high profile corporate events at venues such as the International Convention Centre, Sydney Showgrounds and various 5 Star Hotels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the picking & packing of stock required for various Exhibitions, Trade Shows & Conferences. This would include stand framework and components, furniture, AV, electrics, staging, flooring etc.
· Operate forklifts (training provided) within warehouse environment assiting with the laoding and unloading of various Moreton Hire trucks as well as external freight trucks.
· Drive MH Fleet trucks (car license based) safely to transport stock and equipment to and from event sites and venues across Sydney.
· Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving general stock & goods.
· Adhere to Warehouse Safety Protocols and contribute to a culture of safety on-site, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your teammates.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and safe execution of all stock picking and preparation.
· Maintain resources, equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use.
· Demonstrate leadership skills by taking ownership of tasks and project and supporting the Warehouse Manager across each project.

Pay: $34.00 – $39.00 per hour
