Supervisor – Castaway Coffee Bar (Full-Time / Flexible Roster)
Location: Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast – right on the beach

Castaway Coffee Bar is one of the Gold Coast’s busiest and most vibrant specialty coffee cafés – known for our creative iced matcha flavours, signature brunch dishes, and unbeatable beachfront location. With our long-term and much-loved Supervisor moving back home to the UK, we’re now on the lookout for a newSupervisor to step into this key role and help lead the floor with confidence, positivity, and strong hospitality skills.
What you’ll do
- Lead, motivate, and support our front-of-house team during service
- Deliver warm, professional customer service that reflects our brand
- Assist with training, onboarding, and maintaining service standards
- Manage daily café operations (opening/closing, cash handling, rostering support)
- Communicate effectively with management, kitchen, and barista teams
- Step in wherever needed – from running the floor to jumping on the till
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-paced, coffee-focused café
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and café operations
- Previous experience in a café/restaurant leadership or supervisor role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine love for hospitality

Pay: $34.00 – $42.00 per hour
