This is a part-time position of approximately 16 to 20 hours per week, with flexibility in days and hours and primarily a work-from-home arrangement. Would suit school hours. However, the ability to work full time to assist with colleague leave coverage at times is essential.
Day to day you will:
· Handle small volume incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally in relation to independent medical examinations.
· Manage scheduling and diary bookings across various consulting locations.
· Maintain database system with accurate data entry.
· Undertake basic administrative tasks: electronic file preparation, collating electronic briefs, document storage.
· Assist with medicolegal report transcription
· Work closely within a small team, supporting one practitioner and administrative team lead
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
· A minimum of one years’ experience in medical administration with a sound knowledge of medical terminology, or experience in the medicolegal or insurance arena.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
· Competency with MS Office Suite.
· A professional work ethic and integrity, given the work from home environment.
· A positive, proactive attitude; be self-motivated and able to manage own workload independently.
· Experience with medical transcription, desired.
Note the successful candidate must have full work rights and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
