About the role
Join a dedicated 22-bed rehabilitation unit providing specialised care for patients with neurological, rheumatology, cancer, transplant, LVAD, aged care, orthopaedic and HIV-related conditions.
Deliver patient-centred rehabilitation programs that support individuals to achieve their maximum potential following injury, illness or surgery.
Work collaboratively with patients to achieve meaningful goals, including improving mobility, increasing independence with daily activities, and adapting to life changes.
Be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team comprising medical, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, social work, pharmacy, nutrition, diversional therapy and pastoral care services.
Contribute to a supportive and holistic rehabilitation environment focused on maximising functional independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice.
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
