About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to provide daily care for a 61-year-old participant living with dementia in the Parkwood area.
This position will start with a few hours of support every day, with the opportunity to increase hours over time as the participant's support needs grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily, person-centered support tailored to the participant's needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
- Manage and support behaviors or needs specific to dementia care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with participants who have dementia.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic nature.
- Age Preference: 25 years and above (Open to both male and female applicants).
- Relevant compliance documents (e.g., Police Check, First Aid/CPR).
