About the Role
Picton Karting Track is looking for an organised and customer-focused Booking & Customer Service Coordinator to manage daily bookings, customer enquiries, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and helping customers plan their karting experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all customer bookings, reservations, and event scheduling.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and online booking enquiries.
- Coordinate group bookings, birthday parties, corporate events, and race meetings.
- Maintain accurate booking records and customer information.
- Process payments, invoices, and booking confirmations.
- Assist customers with race packages, pricing, and event options.
- Liaise with track operations staff to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Monitor booking availability and maximise track utilisation.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
- Assist with reception duties and general administrative tasks as required.
- Monitor karting sessions and enforce track safety rules.
- Brief customers on safety procedures and kart operation.
- Assist with race control and track marshalling duties.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of karts and equipment.
- Prepare karts for racing sessions, including fueling and inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the track, pit area, and customer facilities.
- Assist with customer service, bookings, and event operations.
- Respond promptly to incidents and ensure safe track conditions at all times.
- Support corporate events, parties, and race meetings as required.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move equipment when required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in motorsports is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Current driver's licence preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, motorsport, or customer service is advantageous.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Previous experience in administration, bookings, reception, or customer service is preferred.
- Confidence using computers, booking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Experience in hospitality, events, recreation, or motorsport is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time position.
- Weekend availability may be required.
