The Primary Connect Project Governance & Assurance (G&A) Office oversees strategic initiative planning and assures business value is executed flawlessly through rigorous execution and project management.
What you’ll do

Play a key role in embedding governance and compliance practices across Primary Connect Delivery and Business Teams, enabling effective value delivery while minimising risk to strategic priorities and investments.

Lead end-to-end preparation for Steering Committees and the Investment Delivery Forum (IDF), synthesising complex delivery data into executive-ready presentations and briefing packs, while managing action tracking and quality control across all governance forums.

Support the Senior Manager – G&A and Head of G&A with project health checks, Stage Gate reviews, and document management across a broad portfolio spanning network development and systems, detecting cost or timeline risks early and ensuring rigorous controls hygiene.

Proactively challenge existing governance and assurance processes, driving efficiencies through AI and automation to reduce manual admin and free up capacity for higher-impact work.

Partner with senior leaders and delivery teams to activate ways of working, strengthen governance frameworks, and improve program/project reporting.
What you’ll bring

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with hands-on operational knowledge of project lifecycles, stage-gate reviews, and corporate assurance/audit readiness.

An analytical, curious mind paired with the tenacity to challenge the status quo and follow things through.

Confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders, backed by excellent communication skills and the ability to distil complex problems simply.

Strong presentation development skills for executive audiences.

Background in project management, business analysis, process analysis, change management, risk, or L&D/training is helpful but not essential — supply chain experience is a bonus.
