As an Electronic Technician you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic products and systems to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, test and calibrate electronic products and assemblies
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic faults to component level
- Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical documentation
- Use test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power supplies
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and test results
- Identify and report improvement opportunities
- Follow ESD, safety and quality procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as an Electronic or Production Technician
- Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
- Experience with SMD rework, through-hole assembly and hand soldering
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documents
- Good fault finding and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Australian work rights are required

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
