About the role
We're seeking a passionate Barista/Cafe All Rounder to join our vibrant team at Cafe All Sorts in Kirra Beach near Gold Coast Airport. In this casual role, par-time and full time role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and customer service in our busy cafe. With a focus on hospitality and attention to detail, you'll play a key part in creating an inviting atmosphere for our patrons.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages and other cafe items to our customers
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Preparing and serving beverages when required
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assisting with general cafe duties, such as drinks and food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling
- Assist with setting up for events and conferences from time to time.
- Contributing to a positive team dynamic and supporting your colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
- At least 2 year experience as a Barista or in a similar cafe/hospitality role
- Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques
- An interest in health and wellness and knowledge of special dietary requirements
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- A friendly, approachable personality and a passion for the hospitality industry
