We're Botanica Obscura, a growing interior plant design practice specialising in architectural, sculptural indoor plants and living art. We design, install, and maintain high-end green spaces for premium residential and commercial clients across Sydney.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to join the team on a casual basis to help maintain plant installations and assist with new project deliveries and installations.
The Role
This is a diverse, hands-on role where no two days look the same. You will split your time between maintaining the plants our studio, and delivering premium installations on-site. This is a hands-on, highly physical role that requires a unique mix of horticultural care and careful heavy lifting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in plant maintenance or horticulture required
- Detail oriented with the ability to notice early signs of plant stress, pests or diseases
- You must be physically strong, comfortable with heavy lifting and bending in a variety of environments
- Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with clients in luxury residential and commercial spaces
- Must have a driver's license. Experience driving light trucks or commercial vans for deliveries is highly favourable
