Cornerstone Coffee and Kitchen Cafe is currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader who knows how to deliver an exceptional experience for every customer in every interaction, and leads, directs and motivates a team in the same way.
Reporting to the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for the running of the Cornerstone Café. Your primary role will be supervising staff and ensuring they meet Bankstown Sports exceptional customer service standards at all times. We want someone with a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate and encourage others.
About You
We are looking for someone who is able to lead the team and maintain the highest level of customer service. The role also requires a leader who is able to:
- Develop team members to deliver customer service excellence
- Manage the team and delegate tasks during peak trade periods
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
- Resolve member and guest complaints
- Supervision of assigned staff including training, coaching and performance feedback
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Provide up to date information to our members and guests on all Club services
Essential Criteria:
- Must have RSA and RCG qualifications or willing to obtain
- Commitment to a 24-hour rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Rights to work in Australia
- Minimum 6-12 months café or hospitality experience required
Desirable:
- Café Team Leader or Café Supervisor experience and have flexible availability.
- Minimum 6-12 months team leadership or supervisory experience required.
