What you will do
As chief executive officer, you will oversee the Commission's daily operations and help deliver its law reform work.
You will support strong governance, guide staff and help the Commission meet its legal obligations.
You will:
-
lead day-to-day operations and maintain strong governance and compliance
-
provide high-level advice and support to the Chair and Commissioners
-
coordinate the delivery of authoritative publications and law reform reports
-
support research teams to deliver high-quality work on complex issues
-
build productive relationships and represent the Commission in senior forums.
About you
A tertiary qualification in law, public policy, public administration, economics or a related discipline is highly desirable.
Senior leadership experience in governance, risk management or financial management is also highly desirable.
You should also have:
-
extensive experience leading corporate and administrative functions
-
strong knowledge of Victorian public sector governance requirements
-
sound judgement when applying legislation and government policy
-
excellent research, writing and communication skills.
