ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to ongoing growth, we now have permanent, full-time opportunities for MC Drivers to join our Livestock teams Our Drivers are responsible for the timely delivery of livestock for internal and external clients, as well as overseeing the loading and unloading process.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed as a Mort & Co Driver you will have a strong commitment to safe work and upholding exceptional animal safety and care.
You will also bring:
- Current MC licence and at least 1 years’ experience in heavy vehicle transport.
- Experience with that safe loading and unloading of cattle/and or commodities from trucks either individually or with assistance.
- Alignment with the Mort & Co Values
- A Commitment to workplace health & safety and safe driving practices
- Availability to work a roster comprising any five in seven days (including weekends) while working within logbook guidelines.
- An understanding that where required for fatigue management, drivers may need to sleep in the truck during rest breaks.

OTHER INFORMATION TO KNOW
Mort & Co have a strong commitment to health and safety and to be considered for this position you will have or have the ability and willingness to obtain:
- Basic Fatigue Management Training
- Fitness 2 Drive medical assessment and Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation (or Commercial Drivers medical)
- Current Traffic history
- Q Fever vaccination
