Auto Electrician – Underground Equipment Experience Preferred
We’re a small business focused on quality workmanship, specialising in air conditioning, wiring harnesses, and field service support for mining and heavy equipment. We’re looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team working on underground equipment. Candidates with experience on Sandvik machinery will be highly regarded.
About the Role
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on underground mining equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and fault-finding data
- Work safely and efficiently in a mining environment
- FIFO/DIDO opportunities available depending on location
What We’re Looking For
- Trade qualified Auto Electrician
- Previous underground mining experience preferred
- Experience with underground drills, loaders, trucks, or auxiliary gear
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on Sandvik equipment highly desirable
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
