About our role
WGA delivers engineering projects across resources, infrastructure and energy.
This role is part of that delivery. As a Graduate GIS Analyst, you will help transform spatial data into practical engineering solutions, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative mapping, data analytics, digital inspection, and spatial intelligence solutions.
Key responsibilities
:
- Data management, design, editing and cartographic outputs for client deliverables
- Assist with the development of data collection workflows and client-facing dashboards
- Data analysis to support design and operational decisions
- Support the processing of LiDAR, photogrammetry and drone-captured data into 3D models
- Support technical experts with requests related to data availability, coordinate systems,
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Geospatial, Environmental Science, Surveying, Geography or associated degree
- Exposure to Esri software such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including complimentary applications like Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builder.
- Experience or interest in learning Survey123.
- The ability to work comfortably with real project data and ambiguity
- Exposure to integrating data from various formats/software packages and embracing software agility to solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently and respectfully engage with internal and external stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams
- Basic familiarity with ModelBuilder or introductory Python (ArcPy) for automation
