We are searching for a Support Worker in Wellington Point for Community Participation
Contractor Position | approximately 4 - 12hrs per week
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Support Worker to assist a part-time Highschool aged participant with Community Participation encouragement to form a team to provide reliable supports and activities.
Role Details:
- There are currently 1-3 shifts, 8am to 12pm Wednesday to Friday
- Shifts are pending final family approval opportunity for additional roles and ongoing work with other participants when available
- Contractor basis - we utilise a comprehensive platform "Connect Teams" that provides all of your invoicing needs as well as information on your participant, your roster & team.
Participant Interests
We are looking for someone who can build a genuine connection with a young participant and support him to explore meaningful community activities that align with his interests and goals.
He has a strong passion for animation, anime and digital creativity, and we are actively seeking opportunities to nurture these talents. Experience or an interest in digital media, graphic design, animation, video editing or similar creative fields would be highly regarded.

Requirements:
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card) – mandatory
- NDIS Worker Screening Card – essential
- Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Valid Driver’s Licence & Car Insurance
- ABN & Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
