Casual / Part-Time Sales Assistant – Rockingham Paint Place
Rockingham Paint Place is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team in a casual or part-time position, with the potential to move into full-time employment for the right person.
The role will initially be approximately 16–32 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as you become more experienced and the role develops.
The role will include:
- Serving customers and providing friendly, helpful service
- Mixing and tinting paint
- Operating our POS and computer systems
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Maintaining a clean and organised store
- General day-to-day duties as required
About you:
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to perform the physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving paint and stock
- Good attention to detail
Previous paint, hardware, retail, automotive or trade industry experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential. We are happy to train the right person who has a good attitude and is willing to learn.

Hours: Approximately 16–32 hours per week initially, with potential for more.
