We're looking for a proactive, organised and solutions-focused Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Altona North. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, improving processes and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.
You'll be responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting your team and driving operational excellence across our warehouse and transport functions.
About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business while creating a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and motivate a high-performing operations team.
- Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure customer expectations are consistently achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and transport providers.
- Manage customer orders, operational administration, reporting and documentation.
- Monitor DIFOT performance and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall operational performance.
- Support and develop team members through coaching and guidance.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, transport activities, dispatches, manifests and carrier bookings.
- Work closely with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure daily workflow efficiency.
About You
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience within warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level administration and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving ability.
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Transport scheduling and carrier coordination.
- Inventory and stock control.
- Food manufacturing or food distribution experience.
- HACCP and food safety knowledge.
- Experience managing key customer accounts.

Recruitment Process
