☕️ FULL-TIME BARISTA / CAFÉ MANAGER – MELBOURNE CBD ☕️
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Barista / Café Manager to join our growing Melbourne CBD café.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves coffee, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role
As our Barista / Café Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily café operations while remaining active on the floor. You’ll lead by example, maintain high service standards, and help create a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Preparing consistently high-quality coffee and beverages
✅ Managing daily café operations and service periods
✅ Managing stock ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
✅ Maintaining food safety and workplace health & safety standards
✅ Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns
✅ Identifying opportunities to improve café performance
✅ Opening and closing the venue as required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a barista in a busy café environment
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong coffee knowledge and latte art skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised, reliable, and proactive
- Able to remain calm under pressure during busy service periods
- Current Australian working rights
- Food safety handling certificate
