Summary of role
We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as Assistant Project Officer in SIRA’s Transformation Office.
Key responsibilities
You will progress projects and deliver tasks including:
-
Support the delivery of projects by tracking milestones, monitoring progress and preparing reports against time, cost and quality objectives
-
Maintain accurate project documentation, records and registers in line with established governance and project management frameworks
-
Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve routine issues
-
Contribute to the planning and delivery of defined projects, working independently or as part of a project team
-
Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning

Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings, preparing papers, noting and distributing meeting minutes, to support project management delivery

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

A good understanding of project management principles
-
Experience providing administrative and project support in a fast-paced, structured environment
-
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Proven collaboration and stakeholder relationship skills
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications such as MS Word and MS Excel
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with relevant experience in minute taking, maintaining project registers and coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholder
