Latrobe Regional Health is looking for BreastScreen Data Manager to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Data Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity and effective management of client and service data for Gippsland BreastScreen. Working closely with BreastScreen Victoria (BSV), Latrobe Regional Health and internal stakeholders, the role supports service performance, accreditation, quality assurance and operational reporting requirements.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate information systems, supporting compliance with BreastScreen standards and accreditation requirements, and providing leadership in data quality, reporting and continuous improvement activities across the service.

The role of the BreastScreen Data Manager is to:
- Manage and maintain accurate, timely and high‑quality client and service data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with BreastScreen policies and procedures.
- Produce reports, data analysis and performance monitoring information to support operational decision‑making, service planning and achievement of agreed targets.
- Lead quality assurance and data validation activities, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate accreditation, compliance and governance activities, ensuring adherence to BreastScreen Victoria standards, policies and reporting requirements.
- Develop, review and maintain service policies, procedures, documentation and information management practices to promote consistency and best practice.
- Support staff development, performance management, records management, electronic archiving processes and positive stakeholder relationships across BreastScreen Victoria, LRH and the wider service.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Business, or equivalent experience in a senior administrative, data management or leadership role.
- Experience training, supporting and developing staff to achieve high standards of performance and service delivery.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft 365 applications and electronic databases, health records or information management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
- A commitment to continuous quality improvement, client‑centred service delivery, women's health and compliance with privacy and information governance requirements.
- Experience working in an accredited healthcare environment, along with expertise in quality assurance, reporting, data analysis and health information management (desirable).
