Dental Assistant – Creswick VIC
Creswick Dental Centre is a small, established private dental clinic in Creswick, near Ballarat and Clunes. We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team.
Experience is preferred, but we will also consider the right developing or trainee applicant if you are reliable, practical, quick to learn, and genuinely interested in dentistry long-term.
This is mainly a chairside assisting and sterilisation role, with some occasional reception/admin support when needed.
About the role
The role includes:
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Sterilisation and instrument processing
- Infection control routines
- Room set-up and turnover
- Supporting patients before, during and after appointments
- Helping the clinic day run smoothly
- Occasional phone, booking or reception support when required
Who we are looking for

- Comfortable in a clinical environment
- Able to follow infection-control routines carefully
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Interested in a long-term role
Experienced Dental Assistants should be comfortable with chairside assisting, steri workflow and room turnover.
Trainee or developing applicants will need to show strong reliability, good communication, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in dental assisting.
Hours and pay
Full-time or part-time may be considered for the right person.
Pay is based on experience and Award classification. Above-award rates may be considered for experienced Dental Assistants. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to a paid trial shift.
Location
The clinic is located in Creswick, near Ballarat and Clunes. Please only apply if you can reliably travel to Creswick for regular shifts.
